Saadqain was founded by Mahvish Batool, an accountant and educator with over 15 years of professional and academic experience across Canada, the USA, the UAE, and Pakistan.

Currently a Senior Consultant at FAAN Advisors in Toronto, Mahvish provides financial advisory and accounting services to Canadian businesses across diverse sectors. She helps Canadian businesses clean up their financial reporting and automate the parts of accounting that used to take hours. Her background also includes working at Quantis International, an AI solutions provider for the global beverage industry, where she collaborated with multinational clients such as Coca-Cola HBC and Krones.

Teaching has always been a big part of Mahvish’s career. She has served as visiting faculty teaching accounting and finance at colleges and universities in Lahore. Over the years, she has mentored and tutored students pursuing IGCSE, GCSE, and A-Level qualifications, as well as university students and professionals connected to institutions including INSEAD, the London School of Economics (LSE), and the University of Wollongong in Dubai.

Her approach mixes strong fundamentals with the practical tools students actually need for the exam. At Saadqain, she makes sure every course is built the same way: clear, structured, and grounded in how the subject actually gets used.

Outside of work and education, Mahvish keeps up with new AI tools and looks for practical ways to use them in accounting work and in how she teaches. She is also an avid reader across all genres, with a special fondness for classic mysteries like Sherlock Holmes and Sidney Sheldon thrillers, and enjoys hands-on creative pursuits including leathercrafting and baking.
